The city of Banjarmasin, which is known as the city of a thousand rivers, is increasingly being threatened by urbanization which has had various negative impacts on life. The river, which used to be the lifeblood of life, is now narrowing and is occupied by settlements. So a stereotype is needed to revive the river as the source of life for the people of Banjarmasin.

The competition brief asked us to revive culture, Nadi Banjar derived by Nadi which means blood vessel, and Banjar is derived by its location in Banjarmasin. The culture that is wanted to be raised here is not just an expression of art but habits and lifestyle of Banjarmasin people, which makes the river as a life orientation and the identity of Banjarmasin City as "City of a Thousand Rivers"
